Lawrenceburg Leaders To Hold Business Meeting Thursday
Leaders with the City of Lawrenceburg are slated to hold a regularly-scheduled, bi-monthly business meeting Thursday morning.
Only a few items of business appear on the June 27 agenda. The sole ordinance on the agenda would amend municipal codes to establish a new bill of cost in connection with the city court system.
It would result in increases in court costs, bringing those costs up to a level comparable to those charged in the county court system. The ordinance is being brought for second and final reading.
Two resolutions are included on the agenda. The first seeks to reappoint Bid Lindsey as the City of Lawrenceburg’s representative on the Lawrence County Senior Citizens Board.

The second resolution is to, “Allow certain revenues received by the administration department as donations to be considered miscellaneous revenue and set aside as designated for health and wellness programs for all city employees.”
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Lawrenceburg City Administration Building, 233 West Gaines Street. The public is invited to attend.
